Hannah "DOG"TANA

Why does my mom do this to me. I think she thinks just because I can't "talk", that means she can do whatever she wants with me! What does she think I am? Some furry doll. I mean I am cute. I don't think there are any "superstar" dog's out there. Maybe MOM was trying to do something for my future! Enjoy these pictures because I think this will NOT happen again for a while! 

 I look.....like a dog dressed in little girl clothes. This can't be normal. 

Do you see how I am giving my mom the side view? This is my way (since I can't talk) of saying NO, I am not looking at the camera so you can take silly pictures of me.

Dammit! She caught me.

Notice, my eyes are open. I am NOT sleeping. I am playing "dead dog". No, I was never taught that trick but I figured I would let my natural instincts kick in at this point. DO YOU SEE THE SKIRT ON ME! 

Seriously. Does my mom think I am on some reality show? I can't even yawn without her snapping pictures! 

Can you believe I took this off with my OWN PAW!

I'm out of my blogger depression....

 I know your prolly shaking your head saying.... oh now she wants to come back. I'm sorry. I went off to college for a couple of months. Isn't that what people do when they grow up? Mommies told me I had to. When I was on Martha Stewart  my mom told Martha that I was "just a dog" and I didn't go to school. You know she was talking about my blog people. Because I used to not be able to spell correctly and I didn't ever put capital letters. UHH HUMM.... Are you noticing something different? Grammer? NO? 

Well I took a few pictures of me while I was in college. Yes, I was ALWAYS tired. Watch!

Can you see that I have a "hey nawwww back up with that camera" look on my face? Mommies wanted to "document" my whole college experience. Women. 

Check this one out! Bet you didn't know I could open my mouth that big huh. That was a BIGGG yawn. Check out my tongue. 

Mom just HAD to take a picture of my mole with a hair coming out of it under my chin. Just for the record. Who does that. Rude. 

Ok that's all I have for you today. I promise not to stay gone so long next time. I miss blogging but mom was very strict on me.

Who cares about pet toys when I have lizards!!!!

You all know I love lizards. I think I love them too much! My mom loves taking pictures. I think she loves it too much. I see 2 people who have addictions. Wait. I just heard my mom say "Cooooo your not people"..... Who does SHE think she is? Really? Like I'm some dog or something.

Well. I saw a lizard today. But I didn't catch it. Just wanted to tell you this is a first. Ok. Moms changing and I'm sneaking the puter so gotta run!

hey yall. sorry i have been gone for a while. see my mom is doing this project on her website. it's taking up all her free time she used to have with me. wanna see her website. go to www.jaderbomb.com.  don't tell her but i am mad at her. haha. i think if she reads this she will be mad that i wrote it. it's ok. all i have to do is look at her with those eyes. then she will say. COOOOOO why do you do thatttttt!!!

fine. mom took this. but the smile was my idea. js. 

i set the camera up because mom is too busy lately. 

i think i fell asleep here. 

gotta go. if she sees me on her computer she will be like, coooooo i was in the middle of something. bye! 

Suede Doggie Coat

Tools and Materials

1/3 yard of fabric (for a 20-pound dog)
Scissors
Erasable fabric marker
Four buttons
Needle and thread

I used some felt because it’s very affordable and you can choose from LOTS of colors! I just used two sheets of felt and sewed them together because Co is long!

After you sew the felt together it’s time to cut your strips that go around the neck and across the bottom!

This is what your strip should look like after you cut it. Drape over dog.  Mark where buttons will hold the straps, across the lower neck and behind the front legs.

I used some old vintage buttons that I had. Sew buttons onto main piece; cut slits in straps. (As dog grows, make longer straps.)

Ceaux Ceaux was so distracted. I wonder if dog’s can be ADD! This thing on her is SOO funny!

She was SO awkward and didn’t know how to move! She just stood there and moved her eyeballs!!! To think there were people out there that didn’t love this dog like she needed to be loved is unreal to me! She’s just amazing!

Seriously. How could you not love this face! I swear she did NOT move until I took it off! I hope this craft is fun and easy for you!

Cozy Travel Cushion for Pets

What’s upppp Jaderbugs! It’s such a pretty day outside! I could not wait to post this craft because I just knew everyone out there would be able to do it and it’s a perfect Christmas gift. Last week Martha’s dog’s tweeted me about this craft and I meant to post it earlier but due to a death in the family I kinda got sidetracked. {{so sorry Francesca and Sharkey}} Wanna meet them? OK!

They really are the cutest things ever! Plus, they are totally into computers like Ceaux Ceaux.. If you don’t know who Ceaux Ceaux is you can read her blog HERE… She is my dog and FABULOUS!
There are a few things you will need to do this craft. A towel, batting and embroidery thread. OH! Plus lots of doggie love. Let’s get started!

I bought 2 towels thinking I would use one color on each side. Ya know, dark blue so you don’t see if it get’s dirty and light blue {{for show}}. Smart huh! HOWEVER. I only used 1 towel. I didn’t realize how big they were and my Co isn’t that big. But I still plan on making the light one so she looks pretty on it! Co is spoiled. Seriously.

 Since I used 1 towel I just folded it in half and sewed the 2 sides together. Leave one side open so you can slide the batting inside. See how I did it? Super easy. I doubled up my batting so it was really comfy for her.

 I used an off white embroidery thread. Make sure you get the right needle (embroidery needle) for this because it needs to be tough to go through all of the layers. You will push the needle through to the bottom and after just pass it back through to the top. Tie a knot to secure the thread. Your doing this to the batting does not move around inside of the towel. VOILA!

 So, I put it down and CO just went right on it. It’s like she knew it was for her. She does this “stretching thing” and she was totally doing it here.

Then all of a sudden she started doing her yoga. Yes. She does yoga. Did you know dog’s can do that? Clickhere to read more!

Last was the look. I don’t know how she does it. Maybe it’s the mixture of the eyes, moles and hair coming out all over her face. What cha think? CUTE or WHAT! I hope you enjoyed this craft because I did!

The life of a dog....

my mom works alot. she blogs alot. when she is blogging i usually give her a signal that i would like to sit next to her. so she pulls one of my beds by her. and this is what i do.

yes. this was over a period of 5 hours. 

who? me? yes. i like to poke my nose out every once in a while to let my mom know i am breathing. 

where is co? my mom tucks me in every night but now i am so smart i know how to use my nose to cover myself. i think im a natural.
